Studio monitors are speakers built for exactly this job: to give you an honest, uncoloured picture of your music so you can hear problems and fix them. Choosing studio monitors for a small flat can feel confusing, with talk of drivers, ports and frequency ranges, but the decision comes down to a handful of practical questions. Why Studio Monitors Differ From Hi-Fi Speakers
